In the episode, Michael Scott is feeling very happy and excited about his return to work since now he’ll finally know if Holly Flax’s boyfriend who is AJ has met or not the demands of the ultimatum. On not seeing an engagement ring on her hands, he is exhilarated and wants to celebrate. With the receptionist, Erin he parties and plays  Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You” loudly.
